Our solution
We audited every customisation, retired the ones standard features now cover and rebuilt the rest as AL extensions. Historical data was migrated through staged, rehearsed runs.
Purchase and expense approvals moved to Power Automate with Teams notifications, and Power BI dashboards replaced the spreadsheet reports.
