AI & Automation · Data & analytics

Reliable data foundations, clear dashboards and practical forecasting.

AI is only as good as the data behind it. We build pipelines, warehouses and lakehouses, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards, and predictive analytics such as demand, sales and churn forecasting, so decisions rest on numbers people trust.

  • One definition for each metric
  • Pipelines tested and monitored
  • Forecasts that show their uncertainty

What we build

Specific deliverables, not vague promises.

Typical pieces of work in this area. Most engagements combine several of them.

  • 01

    Data pipelines

Scheduled and incremental ingestion from ERP, CRM, e-commerce and spreadsheets, with data-quality checks and alerts when something breaks.

  • 02

    Warehouses and lakehouses

Data modelled in Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL, organised into clean, documented layers from raw to reporting-ready.

  • 03

    Power BI dashboards

Reports on a governed semantic model with row-level security, so each team sees the right slice of the same numbers.

  • 04

    Microsoft Fabric implementation

Lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks and Direct Lake reports, with workspaces, capacity and permissions planned up front.

  • 05

    Demand and sales forecasting

Forecasts by product, location or channel that account for seasonality and promotions, with the uncertainty shown alongside each prediction.

  • 06

    Churn and propensity models

Scores that flag customers at risk or likely to buy, written back into your CRM where teams can act on them.

  • 07

    Data governance basics

Metric definitions, ownership, lineage and access policies that make the numbers trustworthy and auditable.

How we work

A clear path from first conversation to production.

  1. Week 1

    Sources & metrics

List the questions the business needs answered, the systems involved and how each metric is defined.

  2. Design

    Model the data

Design the warehouse or lakehouse layers and the semantic model that reports will share.

  3. Build

    Build pipelines

Ingest, clean and test the data, with monitoring and alerts from the first load.

  4. Iterative

    Dashboards & models

Deliver reports and forecasts in short iterations, validated with the people who will use them.

  5. Ongoing

    Adopt & iterate

Training, documentation and a backlog of improvements as new questions come up.

Technologies we use

Proven, well-supported tools, chosen for your context rather than for novelty.

  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure SQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Python
  • dbt

Typical outcomes

  • One agreed version of the key numbers across teams
  • Less time spent assembling reports by hand
  • Forecasts that inform stock, staffing and cash planning
  • A data foundation that is ready for further AI work

Outcomes depend on your starting point; we agree success measures with you up front.

Typical use cases

Where this tends to help most.

  • Weekly demand forecast

Distribution teams see expected demand by product and warehouse, with a range rather than a single guess.

  • Sales and margin dashboard

ERP and e-commerce data combined into one view of revenue, margin and returns by channel.

  • Engagement and churn signals

Online course businesses spot students who are drifting away early enough to re-engage them.

  • Spreadsheet replacement

A web of linked spreadsheets becomes a governed model with scheduled refreshes and an audit trail.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Ask us directly. We’re happy to talk it through.

Not necessarily. Fabric suits organisations already invested in Power BI and Microsoft 365 that want one platform for data engineering and reporting. Smaller needs are often well served by Power BI with a modest Azure SQL or PostgreSQL warehouse. We recommend based on data volume, skills and budget.
