TypeScript everywhere, so change is safer and onboarding is quicker.

Type-safe JavaScript across the whole stack, for fewer bugs and safer change.

Overview

What TypeScript is, and why teams choose it

TypeScript adds static types to JavaScript. Types are checked when the code is built and then removed, so the result is ordinary JavaScript that runs anywhere JavaScript does.

Teams adopt TypeScript because it catches whole classes of bugs before code ships, makes refactoring far less risky and documents how code is meant to be used. On codebases with several developers, it is one of the cheapest quality improvements available.

Why it’s a good choice

  • Many mistakes caught by the compiler instead of by users
  • Confident refactoring across large codebases
  • Editor autocompletion that speeds up everyday work
  • Self-documenting contracts between modules and teams

What we build

What we build with TypeScript

  • 01

    End-to-end typed applications

Shared types and schemas from database to API to UI, so a renamed field shows up as a compile error, not a production bug.

  • 02

    JavaScript-to-TypeScript migrations

Incremental migration of existing codebases, file by file, tightening compiler settings as coverage grows.

  • 03

    Typed API clients

Clients generated from OpenAPI or GraphQL schemas, so front ends always match the back end.

  • 04

    Shared validation

Zod schemas that validate input at runtime and provide static types from a single definition, used on client and server.

  • 05

    Internal libraries and SDKs

Well-typed packages that other teams can adopt without needing to read the source.

Our approach

Engineering practices we bring to every build.

How we keep TypeScript work tested, fast, secure and easy to release.

  • Compiler settings

Strict mode and noUncheckedIndexedAccess for new code, with any exceptions documented rather than scattered.

  • Runtime safety

Types stop at the network boundary, so every external input is validated with a schema before it is trusted.

  • Testing

Type checks run in CI alongside unit and end-to-end tests. Types reduce the tests you need, but don’t replace them.

  • Maintainability

Clear module boundaries, discriminated unions for state and generated types instead of hand-written duplicates.

Typical use cases

  • New web applications and APIs
  • Migrating a growing JavaScript codebase
  • Monorepos with shared packages
  • SDKs and integration libraries

Ecosystem we use

Libraries, services and tools we commonly pair with TypeScript.

  • Strict mode
  • Zod
  • tRPC
  • OpenAPI generators
  • ESLint
  • Vitest

Usually, if the codebase is still actively developed. Migration can be gradual, starting with the most frequently changed files, so it never blocks feature work.
